You must agree to these before booking any repair with Geekys Repairs.

(1) Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, do not use our website.

(2) Geekys Repair Agreement

(a) The price stated on the Geekys Repair website are Inc VAT.  if your item is beyond economical repair, we will charge £10.00 to cover postage costs to you unless you want the item to be reycycled then there will be no postage fee. 

(b) Geekys Repair website has the right to withhold your item until payment is received. If we have not received payment within 30 days from the date of repair/inspection, we are authorised to dispose of your item. This includes items which have been deemed beyond economical repair by our engineers.

(c) Warranty repairs only cover parts that have been replaced or repaired. This means we will not repair faults under warranty that have been caused by physical damage or negligence on the part of the user. Geekys Repairs website reserves the right to determine the cause of the fault.

(d) Geekys Repairs will place a warranty sticker and a unique barcode on every item for warranty and internal tracking procedures. If our warranty sticker is removed or tampered with your warranty will be void.

(e) Please remove any accessories/peripherals wherever possible before sending the item to us for a repair, unless you feel that they contribute to the fault, or have been specifically requested to include them. This includes, but is not limited to, games, cables, chargers and controllers.

(f) The £10.00 charge also applies if a item is sent into us as a free estimate, and/or the customer wants to have the item returned without a repair being completed.

(g) Warranty requests will be accepted if the issue described is related to our original repair. If we examine your item and deem that the fault does not relate to our original repair, we reserve the right to charge the customer for parts, labour and return postage.

(h) Although unlikely, data loss may occur during the repair process. It is therefore advisable that you back-up any files before sending the item.Geekys Repairs is not held responsible for any data loss that may occur.

(i) Geekys Repairs update you via text message and email when we receive your item. If you do not receive confirmation within 7 days of postage, you must inform us immediately so that we can investigate with our couriers. In the unlikely event that your item is missing, failure to do so may result in us being unable to provide a replacement item if one is required.

(j) Geekys Repairs will inform you via text message and email when your repaired item has been dispatched from our premises. If you have not received your item within 7 days from the time of dispatch, you must contact us so that we can investigate the situation. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to supply a replacement item if one i required.

3)  Lifetime Warranty 

Geekys Lifetime Warranty covers any manufacturing defects with the parts used. This means that the warranty only covers the part or parts fitted if they become faulty on their own accord under normal use. Geekys Lifetime Warranty is only valid if the part fitted during repair is strictly in the same condition when returned as it was when it was fitted. This means that if there is any physical damage or misuse of any level to the part fit that your Geekys Lifetime Warranty would be void. Geekys will assess the level of physical damage or misuse.

(3.1) Geekys Lifetime Warranty does not cover the following repairs. Software, Water Damage Treatment, Water Damage, Physical/Customer Damage.

(4) Variation

We may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

(5) Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

(6) Grading

New - All items are new and unused unless stated otherwise with our grading system.

A Grade - Excellent or near new condition: Item comes with an original charger, cables, accessories and original box.

B Grade - Good condition:

Consoles - Comes with moderate signs of Wear, Marks, Dents, Scuffs, Scratches or Chips on the casing. Item comes with Power Cable, HDMI, Controller & Controller Sync Cable. Item may not come with its original box.

Phones - Comes with moderate signs of Wear, Marks, Dents, Scuffs or Chips within the casing. Item comes with a new 3rd party USB Plug and USB cable charger. Item may not come with its original box.

C Grade - Okay condition:

Consoles - Item will show heavy signs of use, Wear, Marks, Dents, Scuffs, Scratches, Chips on the casing. Also may come with a 3rd Party Controller. Item comes Power Cable, HDMI, Controller (Possibly 3rd Party), Controller Sync Cable. Item may not come with its original box

Phones - Item will show heavy signs of use, Wear, Marks, Dents, Scuffs, Chips and LCD Marking (Screen Burn/Pressure Marks). Also Face ID and fingerprint scanner may not work. Item comes with a new 3rd party USB Plug and USB cable charger. Item may not come with its original box.

Unit only - Okay/Good condition: Item will show moderate to heavy signs of use, wear, marks, dents, scuffs, scratches, chips on the casting. Item comes as console ONLY. This does NOT include any cables or controller. Item does NOT come with original box.
